Make real progress

Life with epilepsy is hard… but it doesn’t have to be.

We are entering an era where neurostimulation technology can both stop seizures and potentially improve quality of life by restoring consciousness.

A new approach

Our goal is to provide a novel therapeutic option for people with temporal lobe epilepsy when seizures cannot be stopped by medications, conventional surgery or other treatments. By adding bilateral thalamic stimulation there is potential to restore consciousness when seizures cannot be stopped, which could greatly alter clinical practice and improve quality of life for people with epilepsy.

Who can participate

People who have temporal lobe epilepsy that cannot be completely controlled by medication or other treatments and who would like to participate in novel medical research aimed at better treatment.
